Quick Tips – 5 Fitness Essentials Every Traveler Should Have

I completely understand how traveling can be a pain and get you out of your routine. But guess what – it doesn’t have to be. With these five simple tips, any traveler can workout on the go!

Don’t Forget to Drink Water

The first most important thing that any fitness guru knows is to always stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water. That doesn’t change just because you go on vacation. If you find your normal water bottle is too inconvenient try a collapsible water bottle instead.

I found this Hydaway Collapsible Water Bottle on Amazon that is quick and convenient to use. This gem can fit anywhere like your pocket, workout bag, or easily in your hands. It’s also dishwasher safe so you can easily clean without a mess!

Have the Perfect Shoes

You must have your go-to running shoes at all times. How else will you get a powerful workout in? My guess is you won’t or you’ll struggle to try to do it.

Personally, my favorites are the Adidas EQT Support Advance running shoes. They are so comfortable and feel like your gliding on air while you run. They’re also very durable and will last you if you treat them right (I’ve had mine for a year now).

Keep Your things Secure

One of the worst things about working out is trying to figure out where to put your stuff if there aren’t any lockers available and forgetting your valuables behind. That’s why I’m recommending you get a running belt that will hold your keys, ID, and money because that’s really all you need.

With that being said, I was able to find the Gearwear Running Belt for both men and women on Amazon. It comes in a variety of colors and will definitely come in handy no matter what exercise you’re doing in or out of the gym.

Stay Cool While You Workout

Who wants to use the gym’s towels or even your hotels? With this Polygon Cooling Towel you no longer have to worry and can ditch the thought of using a gym or hotel towel for your workout again. This portable cooling towel absorbs sweat and can be tied around you in multiple ways making it convenient for any exercise you decide to do that day.

Really you could even use this when you’re not traveling. Having your own clean towel is always essential especially if it absorbs well.

A Gym Finder App

I’ve saved the best for last. When you’re out of town you don’t want to be stuck using the hotel gym and it wouldn’t make sense to sign a gym membership in a city you won’t be in for much longer. This is why I’m recommending the Localfit app. It is easy to use and gives you full access to over 5,000 different gyms with no commitment other than a cheap monthly fee.

You won’t want to be without this app if you love to try new places and the hotel gym just isn’t equipped with what you need to get that awesome burn you get when you’re back at home. Think of it as “your fitness passport” and don’t leave home without.

Well, there you have it. 5 fitness essentials every traveler should have when they are out of town on business or vacation. The possibilities are endless!
